Mr. Selase Agbenoto has a passion for engineering and has been an engineer for over 18 years. A keen interest in the inner workings of systems since childhood eventually led him to pursue a career in engineering. Agbenoto has worked on several engineering projects, which include information assurance over a secured network with the United States Army research laboratories in Adelphi Maryland, designing a Security Operation Center (SOC) for the Emergency Command Centre in Accra Ghana in conjunction with the National Security Secretariat of Ghana. Agbenoto’s passion and enthusiasm for the area of cybersecurity got him invited by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Israeli National Cyber Bureau at the Prime Minister’s office, to their annual international cybersecurity conference in Tel Aviv, Israel. These experiences add to his diverse and rich experience in his endeavors as an information security expert.

Agbenoto’s passion to impact knowledge and empower others has led him to teach in the engineering faculties of Alabama A&M University, Duke University, North Carolina Central University, and Valencia College. He is currently an adjunct professor of cyber and network security at ECPI University. Mr. Agbenoto’s areas of interest are information assurance and security, vulnerability management, medical device security, Internet of Things (IoT), digital and analog circuits, power systems, wireless communications, digital signal processing, VLSI, business continuity, compliance and IT disaster recovery. Mr. Agbenoto holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering with a minor in Mathematics, MSc in Electrical and Computer Engineering and MSc in Cybersecurity Management and Policy.
